Meet Our Director

Hello! I’m Sarah and I am the Director of Territory Talkers as well as a dedicated and experienced speech pathologist with 19 years experience supporting children and families.
Originally from the UK, I started my career in the NHS and have worked across a variety of sectors from childcare, residential settings to the criminal justice system. Moving to Australia has allowed me to develop my experience within government and NDIS sectors. I’ve also had the privilege of working and living in a remote community in Central Australia. I will always be grateful for this experience and to Warlpiri people for welcoming myself and my family to their land and allowing me to support therapeutic services within the community. This drives my motivation to offer equitable services to all and I strive to ensure my therapeutic approach is culturally responsive.
I believe that every child and family deserves to be understood and empowered. My goal is to create a safe, supportive and neuroaffirming space where families can access guidance, strategies and therapy and ultimately feel safe to do things differently. I am a passionate advocate for neuroaffirming, inclusive support for all.
Please reach out if you would like tailored support including orofacial myofunctional therapy, literacy, speech sounds and language support. I am also trained and experienced in delivering autism assessments. I can also offer bespoke training sessions for education settings. In addition to my passion for speech pathology I am also a Mum and so understand the challenges of balancing lots of commitments.
